AHC: Swap Cold War outcomes

Just a random idea that occured to me as interesting. With a POD during the Cold War, have the United States and not the USSR ”collapse” in the same manner. Definition of collapse and what it would look like for the Western Bloc (ranging from no NATO to US balkanization) is up to the reader

So both powers are privatised by team-b economics destroying social democracy and workers' communist movements? This is primarily experienced as a long depression and the end of "liminal" 1968 dreams? Sounds a lot like history.
