Formed following the defeat of the short lived Britannic Empire at the end of the Second Trans-Continental War. The political map of the Federation of Britain has undergone significant changes during both the 20th and 21st centuries to arrive at its current configuration. From a rocky and uncertain start, through constant and diligent care it has found its footing, and in 2022 is a stable and democratic nation envied across the globe for its economic prosperity and civic freedoms.

A federation of equals joined in free association with one another, it is currently composed of five states, one free city, and the British Capital District of Liverpool and Merseyside, organized into a total of twenty provinces.
